The study used AI technology to simulate approximately 1 million different driving scenarios, taking into account different environmental conditions such as weather and road layout. The findings suggest that by simply gliding towards intersections instead of coming to a sudden stop and minimizing idling time, drivers can reduce their emissions by up to 22 %. MIT&#039;s Vindula Jayawardana highlighted the immediate benefits of these methods, saying: \u201cWe don&#039;t necessarily have to wait for high adoption of eco-driving to see significant reductions in air pollution.
