Instead, it&#039;s usually bound to other atoms and molecules in water, natural gas, coal, and even biological matter like plants and human bodies. <\/span><span>However, hydrogen can be isolated. And the H\u2082 molecule itself is a highly efficient energy carrier. <\/span><span>In industry<\/span><span>\u00a0is already used for production <\/span><span>ammonia<\/span><span>\u00a0,\u00a0<\/span><span>methanol<\/span><span>\u00a0a\u00a0<\/span><span>steel<\/span><span> and at <\/span><span>refining<\/span><span>\u00a0petroleum.
