A recent study shows worrying gaps in knowledge about climate change among young people in Germany. According to a survey by the International Central Institute for Youth and Educational Television, which is part of Bayerischer Rundfunk, around 20 percent of people between the ages of 12 and 19 have never heard of climate change. The study suggests that many young people are still not sufficiently aware of climate change and its consequences. The school the respondents attend has little influence on the result.
