All over the world, workers and companies must increasingly face the consequences of climate change. An incredibly large number of workers are already exposed to the risks associated with climate change today, and the numbers will only get worse. And many workers lose their lives as a result of such exposure (such as excessive heat and ultraviolet radiation) to fatal diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular disease.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/header>\n

Some categories of workers could then be especially\u00a0vulnerable<\/b>\u00a0against the effects of climate change and may need additional protective measures compared to those normally provided by national regulations.<\/p>\n
