This new study now explicitly applies this analytical concept to carbon dioxide removal (CDR)\u2014the removal of the most important greenhouse gas, CO\u00a0<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0, from the atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>A study published in a journal\u00a0<i>Nature Climate Change<\/i> led by Berlin&#039;s Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change (MCC) and involved an international team of scientists.
