New satellite data from European Copernicus\u00a0 Climate Change<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0Service show that the global average sea surface temperature in February was 21.06\u00b0C, higher than the previous record of 20.98\u00b0C from August last year.<\/p>\n Maps published by the organization show that vast areas of the world's\u00a0oceans<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>were much warmer than the long-term average.
