In this way, the new project effectively eliminates the annual production of approx <strong>361 tons of CO2e emissions<\/strong>\u00a0. This reduction happens right at the heart of the emissions chain \u2013 at the level of electricity production and distribution. Because of this, the technology can pay off its carbon debt in about a year.<\/p>\n<p>According to our conservative estimates, the investment in the reservoir in Bansk\u00e1 Bystrica should\u00a0 <strong>return in approximately 3.5 years<\/strong>\u00a0. This is because it is a BRAIN repository with new functionalities, which we must first fine-tune carefully. Although according to our experience so far, the payback period can be significantly shorter. However, it will also be greatly affected by the prices of support services and the system deviation.
