emissions that can be avoided or reduced are overestimated. There are several initiatives that seek to address issues related to the integrity of carbon credits, such as the Oxford Principles,\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW264005471 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW264005471 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"Body Text\"><span>the Science Based Targets initiative and the Voluntary Carbon Markets Integrity Initiative.
