\"Copernicus\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The Copernicus program is part of the European Union's space program for Earth observation, which focuses on our planet and its environment for the benefit of all European citizens. It offers information services that draw on satellite Earth observation and in situ (outside space) data.<\/p>\n

The program is managed by the European Commission. The program is implemented in cooperation with member states, the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Organization for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT), the European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), EU agencies and Mercator Oc\u00e9an.<\/p>\n

The vast amount of global data from satellites and land, air and sea measurement systems provides information that helps service providers, public authorities and other international organizations to improve the quality of life of European citizens and beyond.
