Banks in Slovakia are perceived by the public as responsible companies compared to other companies on the market. Also from the point of view of reputation, the public evaluates their operation on the market positively, while they perceive the contribution of banks primarily in the social pillar and ethical business. Within the framework of the ESG area, the population expects engagement from banks in the field of company management, but also in the social field. Although their involvement is expected to a lesser extent in the environmental field, it should not be neglected.
